Chapter 2 was released today, and from the unsettling mist to the terrifying creatures, let's just say that you can feel the darkness starting to creep in! Can we just take a moment to appreciate the lovely creatures Shaun comes up with, too? I mean, look at this beauty!
If you're familiar with Sacred Valley: Betrayal at all, you'll notice nods to the book as Trevor finds himself back in the wretched town (admittedly, I'm still reading it, so there are things I'm missing!). My favorite creatures, the Adlets, haven't made an appearance, but I think I have a new favorite with the Betrayalborne. I mean, just look at that visual!
There are some slight spoilers for both Sacred Valley: Betrayal and Echoes of Betrayal, but they are only spoilers if you've already read the book. So, maybe spoilers is the wrong term... Hmm, no, I think there's a spoiler for SV:B, for sure, but it's so minor so far that, unless you're at that part in the book (which I am currently), you may not even notice it!
